Our Farms By the Glick Family

Where Our Produce Comes From

One question we hear a lot at the stand: “Did you grow this?” We like to give an honest answer. Our flowers and vegetable plants come from our own greenhouse here in Palmer. Our produce comes fresh from family farms we trust. Here’s where it comes from.

Lancaster, PA: family farms, weekly loads

We source our produce from family farms in Lancaster, PA. During produce season we bring in a load every week. We make the trip because the quality is hard to beat: tomatoes, peppers, beans, squash, peaches and much more.

Hadley, MA: sweet corn and berries

Some things are worth getting from close to home. Our sweet corn, strawberries and blueberries come from the best growers in Hadley, MA.

Blueberries come in two stages. The season usually starts with New Jersey blueberries, since they ripen first. Then we switch to Hadley, MA blueberries as they come into season.

Palmer, MA: our own greenhouse

The flowers and plants are ours. Each spring we fill our greenhouse with hanging baskets, annuals and vegetable plants, ready for your garden when the stand opens around the first of May.

So when we say “fresh from family farms,” that’s exactly what we mean. Come see for yourself at 324 Old Warren Rd in Palmer.
